公元三六六年，僧人乐僔行至此山，忽见金光，状有千佛，于是在崖壁上凿开第一个洞窟。
此后一千年，人们在这里接着凿，接着画。今夜，你持一盏灯入窟。

In 366 CE the monk Lezun came to this mountain and saw a golden light in the form of a thousand Buddhas; he cut the first cave into the cliff. For a thousand years others kept carving and painting. Tonight you enter with one lamp.
